The Refuse Collection Service is provided by Kinrade Bros Haulage Ltd, and takes place weekly early in the morning on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday in the following areas:

Located at Middle River Industrial Estate, Pulrose Road, Douglas provides bring facilities for all residents to dispose of unwieldy items of domestic refuse free of charge. The cost forming part of the Local Authority rates. IoM Goverment Civic Amenity Sites webpage.

Winter: (1st October until 31st March).
Daily 8.00 am until 4.00pm daily, (weather conditions permitting)
Summer: (1st April until 30th September).
Monday to Saturday: 8.00 am until 7.00pm.
Sunday: 8.00 am until 4.00 pm.
Bank Holiday: 8.00 am until 4.00 pm.
Closed on: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day and Tynwald Day.
|Disposal of fridges and freezers
Fridge and fridge/freezers can be disposed of at the Eastern Civic Amenity site for a small charge. Under the counter size £14.34 and double size £19.14. Please note only debit card are accepted – no cash or credit cards.Alternatively there is a home collection service provided by Manx Waste Solutions, telephone: 495327.

There are Bring Banks at the following locations:
Shore Road Car Park, and Glen Road Tennis Court Car Park.
Paper, light card, steel and aluminium tins. Glass can be recycled at all these sites.
Clothing/textiles can be recycled at Shore Road Car Park and Glen Road Tennis Court Car Park.
Plastic bottles can be recycled at Glen Road Tennis Court Car Park.
