Laxey Village Commissioners made Dog Byelaws specific to Laxey. These are based upon model byelaws issued by Government and used by other local authorities.

The Community Warden is authorised to issue Fixed Penalty Notices for offences under the Laxey Dog Byelaws and the Litter Act.
