This is because the Commissioners are undertaking surveys of the gridded gully pots across Garff. It has been Lonan this week, particularly the Baldrine Park, Highfield Drive and the Church Close/Ballacollister areas. Any gullies that are blocked will be cleaned in the coming week.
Gullies in Laxey and Maughold will be assessed in the next 10/14 days. Please report any blocked grids to 861241 and we will deal with them.
As it’s Autumn the Commissioners will also be employing the large street sweeping vehicle in Garff; this moves slowly so please drive with care when it is operating on the minor highways across the Sheading.
Please report any large build up of leaves on the highway to the Commissioners.
