Young people aged 5-14 years old and their families are invited to join Manx Birlife at Laxey Glen Pavilion for a variety of fun bird-themed activities led by Michelle Storton from Manx BirdLife and Dawn Dickens from Manx Wildlife Trust.

You can choose to take part on Tuesday 21st February or Thursday 23rd February at Laxey Glen Pavilion, IM4 7BE from 10.00-12.00am and 1.00-3.00pm each day.

There’ll be craft activities such as paper plate bird art, identifying birds of town and country, building a bird nest, making a bird feeder and a treasure trail of birds. Tea, coffee, squash and biscuits will be available.

Participation is free, though crafts activities require prior booking via Michelle on 01624 861130 or michelle@manxbirdlife.im. However, you can drop in anytime between 10.00am and 3.00pm on each day with your family team to have a go at the self-led bird trail to see if you can find all the birds. You can spot the real birds that live in the Glen and find the special bird cards hidden in along the trail.
